JEE Advanced Counselling 2018
After appearing for JEE Main for admissions to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, aspirants also need to appear for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. JoSAA counselling happens after JEE Advanced results are declared.
JoSAA is responsible for the joint seat allocation process for admissions to 97 institutes including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other GFTIs. Admissions to all the undergraduate academic programs offered by these 97 institutes will be made through a single platform.
In 2017, JoSAA seat allocation process was held in 7 rounds. The details for 2018 will be declared shortly.
JoSAA 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
The basic eligibility criteria that students need to meet to be eligible for JoSAA counselling process is that they should have appeared for JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
JoSAA 2018 Participating Institutes:
As many as 97 institutes participate in JoSAA 2017 Counselling. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-GFTIs.
JoSAA 2018 Counselling Schedule:
JoSAA 2018 counselling schedule will be declared shortly. In 2017, the process began on June 15 at 10 am and concluded on July 22.
